Locating an item

Category Search

1. Select one of the green category buttons on the left of the screen and a thumbnail gallery will be displayed, one image for each sub-category.
2. Click the thumbnail or the sub-category name below it to display the product details page.
3. On the product details page you will find thumbnail images of all bulbs in the sub-category these are clearly displayed at the top of each page. You can click any of the thumbnails to view a larger image.
4. Click the button to add the product to your shopping basket.
   

Bulb Finder

1. You can enter up to seven words with spaces between them.
2. If you wish to display only records with all the words matching, click the "All of the words" radio button. Do not enter the word "and" between words as this word is filtered out.
3. Click after entering the words to carry out the search.
4. There is no need to enter common words such as "Volts" and "Watts" as the search program views both data fields on the number entered e.g."240" will search the Volts fields for "240 Volts".
5. Click the button to add the product to your shopping basket.

Fast Track Search

1. This is a quicker search that allows you to select a sub category from a drop down menu.
2. Click the Fast Track Icon to display all of the categories. Select a sub category from the drop down menu and the product details page will be displayed.

Volts and Watts Search

If you know the voltage and wattage of the item that you are looking for simply enter these into the search fields, all items with these criteria will then be displayed. Please note this search only recognizes numerals.

Unpriced Items

For items that do not display pricing for on line purchase, click the enquiry button, and complete the "Lamps-on-Line stock enquiry form". One of our sales advisors will reply promptly with price and availability.

Shopping Cart

Once you have completed your selection of lamps proceed to "checkout" and follow steps 1 to 5 to complete your purchase. You will have the option to create a customer account. This service is available as an aid to store your information online. With a customer account, when accessing this site from different computers or at any time in the future, you can login to retrieve your information. If you do not expect to return to our site simply complete the billing information as required. To receive our special offers and new product bulletins please check the box "subscribe to our mailing list" at step 1.

Payment

1. On line payment is taken via Protx and is encrypted using 128 bit SSL certificates. You can be assured that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
2. Order confirmation will then be e mailed to you along with an order reference number.

Delivery

All orders received for stock items by 3pm are despatched the same day. Every order is selected and checked by individual personnel before despatch in order to minimize errors. Standard delivery is either by 1st Class packet post or courier. You can expect to see your goods 2 to 3 days from date of purchase.

Delivery Charges - UK Mainland

1. All orders in excess of £35.00 net of VAT are delivered without carriage charge on a standard delivery service. For orders less than £35.00 net of VAT the following carriage charges apply
2. Fluorescent tubes greater than or equal to 2ft in length £8.00
3. All other items £3.50
   

Timed Deliveries

Please note all timed deliveries will need to be placed directly with our sales office before 3.00 PM and are subject to stock availability.

1. Guaranteed Next Day delivery up to 5 PM £12.00
2. Guaranteed Next Day delivery by Midday £20.00
3. Guaranteed Next Day delivery by 10 AM £28.00
4. Saturday AM £45.00

Outstanding Items

Should part or all of your order be "out of stock" we will advise delivery on the outstanding item(s) and make delivery once the order is complete.
