So what’s it like?

Being an integrated unit gives this downlight two main advantages. Firstly there’s no need to buy a separate bulb because as the name suggests the LED is built in. Then secondly, being all in one, the unit easily passes the IP and fire rated tests. It feels like a quality, robust unit to hold and Integral must be confident in it too as these downlights come with a 3 year warranty.

Each downlight is supplied with a driver that has a dimmable range of 5% - 100% which Integral recommend you pair with a Varilight dimmer switch for best results. The driver is separate from the main unit and fitted with a quick connector lead.

Standing just 58mm tall this downlight will fit just about any depth of ceiling cavity so if you’re short on space or worried about acoustic insulation it’s got you covered. It requires a 70mm diameter cut out with the front bezel measuring 85mm.

There are 4 interchangeable bezels options available with this downlight: White, Nickel, Chrome and Black. We especially like the addition of the black bezel to the range as it is paintable so you can truly blend these lights into your interior design scheme. The Nickel option provides a satin finish while the polished chrome has a shiny gloss finish.
