Rough Service Light Bulb Ban February 2016

which bulbs will goThere are three main areas where this could affect you:

  • Incandescent ‘rough service’ bulbs are banned
  • High and low temperature incandescent bulbs are banned
  • Incandescent squirrel cage bulbs made with clear glass are banned

 
However, some special purpose bulbs will still be available including:

  • Oven and refrigerator bulbs
  • Infrared heat lamps
  • Incandescent decorative bulbs with coloured glass. The coloured or tinted glass indicates it is used for decorative purposes so will still be allowed. This includes those with squirrel cage or spiral filaments.

Lux live 2015

Lux live 2015Dubbed as Europe’s largest annual lighting show, LuxLive 2015 took place on the 18th – 19th November at London ExCel. With just over 300 exhibitors, the usual suspects of Aurora, Kosnic, V-Tac, Tamlite, Venture and BEL were joined by a wide array of companies including those exhibiting through the Lightspace Dot London and Strategies in Light Europe arenas.
