Our Lamp Prices

As part of our charter, we aim to provide competitive pricing to our customers. To achieve this we regularly check our prices against other lamp suppliers. If we find a competitor offering the same product, sold with the same service conditions, at a lower price then we’ll change our price to match.

Conditions for lamp price matching

We doubt you will find a lower price at another competitor for the same exact product, sold with the same service conditions - but if you do, we'll match the price when you buy, or refund the difference for up to 28 days after you've purchased from us when you make a price match claim.

We consider competitors to be those offering the same services as us. This includes a trade counter, call centre and credit account offerings. The level of service we offer can't therefore be equalled by online or mail-order only retailers such as Amazon or eBay - and it's for this reason we don't match their prices.

Competitor short-term promotions

From time to time competitors may run very short promotions which we may not have the chance to adjust our prices for, but we would still consider refunding the difference.

Unusual orders

When a product isn't part of our normal stocked range we may have to order it especially for you. When this happens we'll consider price matching, but we do reserve the right to refuse to match prices on such orders where it would be uneconomical for us to do so.

Submitting a price match request

In order to process your request for matching a competitor’s price for an item we sell, or one you've already purchased from us, we’ll need you to provide a few details.

You'll also need to take into account costs relating to:

  • WEEE
  • Delivery charges
  • Warranty charges

 

Please provide:

  • The name and product code (SKU) of the item
  • Name of competitor
  • Proof of competitor’s price, e.g. the website URL of the product
  • Any information you have on additional costs such as WEEE, delivery and warranty

If you've already purchased the item from lamps-on-line.com, please also provide:

  • Your order number

Please note you must have bought the item within the last 28 days.
