HALOGEN AR111 12V 50W 24° G53 is a versatile AR111 halogen reflector lamp designed for applications where high-quality, directional lighting is required. Installation Guide

Important: This is a 12V low-voltage lamp and must not be connected directly to a 230/240V mains supply. It must be used with a suitable compatible 12V transformer or power supply.

1. Switch off the power and allow the existing lamp to cool completely before installation.
2. Check compatibility – confirm that the fitting accepts an AR111 lamp with a G53 2-pin base and is suitable for a 50W, 12V lamp.
3. Check the transformer – ensure the existing transformer is suitable for a 12V 50W halogen load. If replacing an existing lamp, check the transformer's minimum and maximum load requirements.
4. Remove the old lamp according to the fitting manufacturer's instructions.
5. Avoid touching the halogen capsule/reflector with bare fingers. Oils from skin can contaminate the lamp surface and may shorten its life. Use a clean, dry cloth or suitable gloves if handling is necessary.
6. Insert the G53 pins into the lamp holder and ensure the lamp is properly seated and secure.
7. Position the lamp so that the 24° beam is directed towards the required area or feature.
8. Restore the power and check that the lamp operates correctly.
9. If using a dimmer, ensure it is specifically compatible with the 12V halogen lamp and transformer.

Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person where required. Always follow the instructions supplied with the light fitting, transformer and lamp.
