Our Industry has seen the most dramatic changes in light sources over the last few years since the invention of the incandescent lamp (Household Lightbulb) by Joseph Swan, the English scientist. 

LED Lightbulbs have now been developed to a stage that they are becoming viable as are placement to regular household lightbulbs, so we thought now would be a good time to review where the market is and make a few predictions for the future.

The is the most influential Lighting exhibition in Asia and is held in one of Canton’s most Industrial Cities Guangzhou based on the pearl river, that has a population of 4.6 million people.  General Lamps attended the show and this is our report. 

The Lighting Show at the NEC Birmingham is an annual event aimed at lighting for the domestic market. Exhibitors are mainly manufacturers of domestic and decorative light fittings. Here are some thoughts on the show this year. 

Over the last few years daylight lighting has become increasingly popular in households and office blocks throughout the country. Why?
